Get the tattoo you want, not the just any old one that fits your budget.  If you can't afford the one you'd ideally have, save up until you can afford it.  Mistakes can end up costing more in the long-term.

Shop around the studios by all means - but PLEASE look at the portfolios and compare the standard of work as well as the price.  If there is no portfolio, STEER CLEAR!
