Painless Chris Ltd was established in the 2006 and grew out of Kustom Kulture. Due to growing success, Chris branched out with his own business, specialising in the kind of work he has become well-known for - good quality, clean traditional tattoo designs like you'll see on these web-pages.
Chris got into tattooing at a very early age. Growing up in North London during the 1980s, it was a prime time to study various tattoo styles with the huge underground scenes of punks, skinheads and psychobillies. Influences came from the dominance of horror, lettering, album covers, leather jackets and so on. Chris dabbled in tattooing on several occasions over the years, but it wasn't until the late 1990s that Chris started to take it seriously and it has grown into a successful business from there on. Outside of tattooing, Chris still loves the punk and psychobilly music scenes and is also a motorcyclist, with a passion for old-school choppers.
